ALPINE FLOWER APARTMENTS

… and in the land of the prettiest alpine flowers. ALPINE FLOWER is the name of our six apartments, four of which are located at the Gorenc Home in Bohinjska Bistrica while two of them are located at Škantar's in Ribčev Laz right next to Lake Bohinj. The distance between the houses is approximately 6 kilometers.

We have a long tradition of renting our rooms to domestic and foreign guests who want to spent their holiday or at least a weekend in Bohinj, and that tradition is passed down from generation to generation, and they have all shared their love of nature, active relaxation in the mountains or in the water, friendly socializing and delicious food. But as Bohinj is becoming an increasingly popular destination every year, taking care of our guests has become more demanding and especially stressful for our parents in the main season. That’s why the younger generation stepped in more actively, and together, we believe the combination of experience and fresh energy will make our guests feel nice and comfortable and eager to return.

Four apartments are arranged in a large family house that stands just below the former Kobla Ski Resort. Studios Perunika (Iris) and Triglavska roža (Triglav Flower) offer everything you need for a perfect vacation for couples – both have a double bed – or two guests. Apartment Murka (European Orchid) has an additional bedroom with two single beds, and with its 40 m2 is comfortable enough for a family with two children. Možina (Alpine Sea Holly) is our most luxurious and largest apartment and is suitable for a family or a group of people that like a comfortable and spacious holiday residence. The apartments and balconies offer beautiful views of the Julian Alps. You can park your car in the private parking lot next to the house and store your skis and bicycles in a special room, and in the garden there is a summer kitchen with barbecue, garden furniture and a children's swing.

Bohinjska Bistrica is a great starting point for summer and winter sports, hiking, cycling and walking. There is only 6 km to Lake Bohinj and 21 km to Bled. Since we are a sports family, we can advise our guests first hand where to ride a bike, where the most beautiful mountain trails are, where to go fishing, skiing or cross-country skiing, swimming and leisuring, rowing or horseback riding. We also know where to find good cuisine and where you can try traditional Bohinj dishes. Everything you might need on your holiday is nearby: shops, restaurants, post office, bank, health centre, train and bus station. The water park with swimming pools and saunas is only 400 m away from our house, and in the vicinity there are the access to the Sava Bohinjka River, the Bohinj cycling trail and the road to Bovec and the Soča Valley. In the immediate vicinity is the northern portal of the famous Bohinj tunnel on the railway line, which leads from there to Baška Gorge and on to Nova Gorica.
